Tilt is an international celebrity of Graffiti art, coming from Toulouse.
Auto-proclaimed « Grafitti art fetishist», he has developed his practice in the streets and on the trains.
His first tags, on skateboard ramps, are from 1988, since then his work has enriched itself and is now testifying of the influences he has brung back from his numerous trips.
His journeys allowed him to exhibit and stamp from his own imprint almost 40 countries counting The United States, Japan, Philippines, Senegal, China, New Zealand, Australia, and numerous other cities in Europe.
Tilt likes to desmontrate with his practice that the initial form of Graffiti art can have an impact as strong as more complex or figurative composals can obtain.
He proposes a clear formal vocabulary and pure colors which express his primitive approach of classic Graffiti art from which he comes from. His exclusivic use of rounded shapes comes from his obsession for the curves that do not initialy compose his name. According to the codes of Graffiti art, the writing constitues the principal axis of its work.
Loyal to his origin, he still gets the same pleasure in painting in the streets, a place where he is always feeling more free.
